We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious digital marketer to join our small but punchy content and events agency in London.
If you live and breathe social media, are a confident copywriter and a general all-round e-marketing professional, this role is for you.
You’ll be responsible for devising and implementing social and content strategies to support marketing objectives for our own brands and those of our key clients. Working alongside our head of content strategy and talented in-house editors and commercial staff, you will play a key role in delivering campaigns and content geared towards increasing awareness, engagement and leads.
We’re in the process of designing a new Caspian website which will be a great opportunity for the right candidate to shine straight away as we prepare to launch this new shop front to our business.
About the role
•Plan and deliver engaging copy and content where required, for example:
-Take ownership of the Caspian blog on our new website, working closely with the head of content strategy and content creators across the business
-Edit articles for the web
-Plan articles in the content calendar to ensure a regular stream of posts on all relevant channels
-Knit together content from different areas of the business to help promote all the great work we do
-Amplify content by reworking original content to post on all the relevant social channels and direct readers back to the Caspian website
•Create, implement and optimise social campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram, such as:
-Social media outreach to help devise and implement a strategy to build our own brands and amplify client content campaigns
-Raise awareness of our brands by promoting useful articles and posts that are of interest to our audience
-Cross-promote relevant content to bring posts from all our different brands into Caspian’s main channels
-Sustain growth in all Caspian’s current social channels and launching new social channels
-Monitor and track Caspian’s social media activities whilst encouraging content sharing with our different audiences
•Content syndication, PPC, adwords and online marketing, including:
-Build effective content partnerships to increase our visibility and reach
-Develop our syndicated content on regular partner sites and selected content on Caspian websites
-Research and propose effective ways of achieving the best ROI for digital marketing budgets
-Monitor, evaluate and report back on paid digital media activities, through the effective use of social media analytics, etc
-Keep abreast of the online landscape, technological developments and digital trends, regularly reporting back findings
•Search Engine Optimisation
-Devise effective SEO strategies to help increase the flow of traffic to all Caspian websites and elevate the ranking of our content in search results
•Client and new business marketing activity, such as:
-Assist in the response to client briefs by contributing to proposals and new content projects
-Manage the database of existing clients and new contacts, segmenting audiences for effective lead generation campaigns
-Write and dispatch lead generation email campaigns, whilst playing a key role in helping Caspian with the research, processing, identifying and targeting of new companies for content work
-Conduct competitor analysis, regularly reporting back on insights gained
-Take the lead in PR and profile-raising activities such as generating and responding to media opportunities, listing Caspian in online directories, exploring new media channels to raise visibility and suggesting Awards for Caspian to enter
-Liaise with clients and third-party providers and partners, as required
•At least two years’ experience in a similar digital role
•Degree-qualified or equivalent with a recognised marketing qualification
•A proven and demonstrable track record of running and evaluating successful social media campaigns and paid advertising such as PPC and adwords
•Excellent understanding how to optimise campaigns on social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter
•Proven experience of effectively using SEO to drive traffic to websites
•A fine attention to detail with experience in writing for email and the web
•A good working knowledge of email and website content management systems and using websites and email analytics
•An excellent communicator with the confidence and knowledge to liaise with clients when required
•A flexible approach and can-do attitude
•Not essential but video creation and editing skills would be an advantage
